In Common

When you see me
Can you see yourself?
Look closer.  Do we have anything in common?
Do we both have two eyes, two ears, one nose, and one mouth?
Do we both have breath in our lungs?
Do we both have a beating heart?
Do we both walk on two feet and touch with two hands?
Do we both have blood running through our veins?
Do we both need food and water to survive?
Can you truly say that we have nothing in common?
The only thing I can see that we don’t  have in common is that
When you hate me, you hate yourself.
When I love you, I love myself.
