Hold her near
As she grows
Remind her how dear
And watch her glow
Help her to learn no
And to know
She has a voice
And it is her choice
Tell her it is fine 
To set her boundary line
Remind her she is strong
And not always wrong
Look her in the eye
So she learns if they don’t 
It is a lie
Remind her a firm handshake
So they don’t think she’ll  break
Most of all, show her love and respect
