Morning Coffee Recipe Great Day

I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations.  Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself.  You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you.  You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world.  Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china.  I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.

Do Your Actions Match Your Words?

Actions speak louder than words do!

Maya Angelou was famously quoted as saying: “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”

This is one of the best pieces of advice ever given.  Anyone can say anything; they can tell you what they think you want to hear, but what do their actions tell you?

What do your actions tell people? Do your words and actions match?

Actions speak louder than words. They reveal a person’s true integrity regardless of what they are saying.

When someone consistently says one thing and does another, it shows a lack of integrity in their words. Eventually, this behavior can cause people to lose faith in that individual and feel that they are not dependable.

It’s like the boy who calls wolf.  All your words become lies to others, and when you tell the truth, they have no reason to trust you.

Integrity matters, words matter, actions matter.

Individuals can transform themselves over time. However, others may take a while to acknowledge and trust this change. Therefore, it is crucial to continue taking steps toward positive change. Eventually, the transformation will become undeniable, and trust will be restored. It is essential to remain committed to this change and consistently take the appropriate actions.

You have such a wonderfully loving way with words such that your words stay with me long after I have read them on your blog. Thank you, thank you! 🙂
