I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness. Perhaps you can hold the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Maybe you have some untapped talent you regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Spring is in the air, a time for the flowers to blossom and an excellent time for us to blossom or re-blossom.
Our buds may have closed through the winter. The shorter, darker days sometimes have an ill effect on some, so they may retreat to their sanctuary, only to reemerge in the spring.
With the well-deserved winter’s nap over, we are ready to blossom again. You may notice a spring in your step, a smile across your face, and a song in your throat.
At the same time, we cannot fret if we are not in full bloom yet. Some flowers don’t bloom until late spring or summer, and some do not until the fall.
Each of us chooses when we are ready to bloom and how we want to bloom. We get to choose the colors we bring to the world. Also, it is our choice if we will stay closed one day in the middle of our blooming.
We can’t force a flower to bloom, so we should not try to force another to bloom. Therefore, we should flourish as we choose and let others thrive as they choose.
Sometimes, as we blossom, others will see that, and they will begin to emerge into a beautiful blossom.
Today’s challenge:
Enjoy the spring blossoms.
