I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations.  Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself.  You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china.  I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow. Blues
Most of us get the blues at times. It is okay to occasionally be blue if we do not stay in that spectrum for too long.
There are many reasons we feel blue at times. Things have not been going as planned, a relationship may have ended, you may feel lonely, or someone may have spilled blue paint on you.
Fortunately, we can turn our attention to something that will make us laugh. There is always something to laugh at. We may have to work to find it, but it is there.
For example, there are funny movies and shows. There are places on the internet set up to make someone laugh. You can even pull a memory from your mind that makes you laugh.
Additionally, we may only need to be with loved ones to bring a smile to our faces.
The intensity of our despair will depend on how we react to the rush of sadness that comes upon us. Some will find it easy to get lost in sadness, while others will immediately start looking for a way out.
Blues can be cathartic, or they can be damaging, depending on how we react to them.
Today’s challenge:
Remember, blue can be changed easily by adding another color.
