I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness. Perhaps you can hold the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Maybe you have some untapped talent you regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Capacity
Many things have a capacity.
We often hit our capacity for the negative things in life and then start searching for the positive things. Unfortunately, it takes far too long to hit our limits or negativity. We each have different timelines for meeting our limits, and all we can do is hope everyone will get there quickly.
Luckily, there is unlimited capacity for the positive. Our hearts have the capability for unlimited love.
Our capacity to love, to be kind and compassionate, joyful, grateful, and charitable are ever expandable. As we grow, so do our limits for these beautiful qualities.
Sometimes, we do hit a capacity for suffering fools and poor behavior.
Unfortunately, a few can push past the capacity for negativity and create chaos in our world. At the same time, we are fortunate that far more have hit their limit for negativity and work to create a beautiful world for all.
What a beautiful world we would have if we could learn to limit our capacity for negativity at a young age.
Today’s challenge:
Limit your capacity to tolerate the negativity in life.
