I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
There are many roads for each of us to explore. We can never choose the wrong road because there is always a lesson to be learned on each path. It may be small, but it is something the universe wants you to know. It may be a lesson in humility, or in humanity, or even humor.
If we look carefully, we will always find a lesson. For example, I posted this with listen instead of lesson, even after proofreading it. Apparently, I still needed a lesson in humility and humor. Humility, so that I know I need to check myself more often, and humor so that I could laugh at my mistake, even though it was in public view.
Choose a road, explore it, and learn the lesson it offers. However, if you feel it is not the right one for you, turn at the next intersection; you will find the right one with much wisdom gained from your explorations. Hopefully, you will have found some humor, too.
Remember, all the roads have one lesson in common: never give up, keep moving forward. You will find your way.
As the song says, “It’s never too late to change the path you are on.”
