I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
We all have different preferences in how we enjoy our coffee. There are many options and varieties to choose from. Some like bold and dark, while others like light and sweet. Or perhaps you like it dark and sweet. At the same time, some may prefer tea instead of coffee.
Like our choice of beverage, we all have different preferences in how we choose to live our lives. What one person may love to do, another finds frightening and would never consider doing. Or one may neglect their appearance because it is unimportant to them, while others would never leave the house without looking perfect.
No one is wrong in their coffee preference or in how they choose to live. We must allow others to make their own choices as long as they do not harm others. Even if you may not like what they are doing with their lives, you do not get to choose how they live.
For example, you would not tell someone how to drink their coffee. Likewise, it is their choice if someone is not concerned about their appearance. Other opinions do not matter.
Life, like coffee, has many options; what is suitable for one person may not be for another. We must accept others as they are.
Today’s challenge:
Think before you speak.
