I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations.  Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself.  You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you.  You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world.  Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china.  I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.

Doors Of Change

Doors close and open for reasons.  Many have heard: “When one door closes, another opens”.

I have told the Universe, “If I miss the door you open for me, please kick me through it.” If we are not paying attention, we can miss the subtle hints the Universe gives us.

We must remember that no door closes without another one for us to go through.  It may be right in front of us, or we may have to walk miles to find it, but it is there, and it usually has something more spectacular than the one that just closed.

I have found that every time I walk out of one door, the next one that I walk into is much better. For example, before I started my blog, I had a job that I loved, but unfortunately, it ended.  However, I knew I would be fine since I have always landed on my feet my whole life and always moved on to something better.  This time, I found my voice, something I did not realize I had.  I am fortunate that while looking for my next door, I have found a detour and can spend some time working on my blog.

Doors close for a reason. Your purpose behind that gate may be over, and the Universe needs you elsewhere.  Possibly, you went through the wrong entry. Whatever the reason that the access point closed, it is okay because you will be amazed at what is behind the next door.

Today’s challenge:

If you have not found the right door, keep searching.

I love your positive outlook!!! That perspective is indeed encouraging and something to hold on to. Just as we do with breathing which is a natural omni-present part of who we are and how we function, one should not have to stop and think about having that positive outlook; it should be an innate part of our souls and minds.

I learned recently one of God’s truths, “In all things give Thanks for this is the will of God concerning you.” The absolute worst “Doors that were closed/slammed” eventually lead to the absolutely best experiences in my life!

Some took years but boy were they worth it when they happened … and the good door was clearly traceable to a nightmare experience in my past! When we are ready to give up, we need to hunker down and assure that we hold on to that positive uplift.

Thank you for your positive “Guidance.” Keep on spreading your good thoughts!!
