I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Fall Clean
I have always practiced not only doing a spring cleaning but also a fall cleaning. I always felt that the house would be closed during the winter, plus you have holidays coming up, so why not give the house a thorough cleaning now?
With winter coming, we are more likely to spend more time in our homes, so having a fresh home seems practical. At the same time, we will likely spend more time alone. So, it is also a great time to do a fall clean of the cobwebs we have let grow within us.
We are often so busy with life, especially during the warmer seasons, that we forget to manage our homes and inner selves. Instead of dealing with issues immediately, we push them aside for later.
While doing your fall cleaning, consider the things you pushed aside and face them head-on now. Perhaps you remember an incident from your past that you were not ready to confront. This may be the time to work through it. Or what if you are currently having an issue you keep pushing aside? It would be the perfect time to face it and fix it.
Fall, like spring, is a time of renewal, a time to start fresh. It is an excellent time to release anything that is no longer serving you so that you can continue to move forward.
Today’s challenge:
Do a fall cleaning of your home and your inner self.
