I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Grace Under Pressure
Are you graceful under pressure?
Many people have discovered to stay graceful when under pressure that, they must accept that things will not always go as planned, and therefore, they must be flexible. As a result, they have learned to think outside the box and formulate alternate solutions that may be necessary.
Being prepared for any eventuality is a beautiful way to maintain grace. Unfortunately, not all of us have learned to be as adaptable.
For example, my constant need to be perfect causes me to spiral out of control when things do not go as planned, creating one of my biggest frustrations: not being graceful under pressure. I must accept that striving to be perfect is the perfect way not to be graceful.
Grace comes from accepting things the way they are. “It is what it is.” Or “everything happens for a reason”. Although I say these two things often, it is usually after I have spiraled out of control. Oh, the struggle to remember imperfection is perfect in an imperfect world.
Therefore, we must accept that grace is imperfect to maintain grace under pressure.
Today’s challenge:
Ask yourself how flexible you are.
