I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Inner Demons
Many of us struggle with inner demons that we face daily. These demons may stem from past trauma, hurtful words from others, or even our own self-criticism. It is also possible that we feel troubled for all of these reasons.
Sometimes, we can control our demons, and when we do, we can have a beautiful day. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Occasionally, our anxieties win. Hence, we react to a situation negatively. We may also find that our monsters are reacting negatively toward someone while their demons are negatively reacting to us.
We must remember that each of us has different torments. Therefore, we cannot judge anyone for their demons. Accepting people for who they are will go a long way in helping them conquer their troubles.
To conquer our demons, we must face and examine them and decide what to do with them.
When our demons roar their ugly heads, we listen to them, like they are telling us the truth when, in fact, they are lying to us.
Inner demons are usually a falsehood perpetrated by a lie.
Today’s challenge:
Sit with your demons and learn about them.
