I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
The true beauty inside each of us surpasses what we can perceive on the surface.
You likely know someone who is very attractive on the outside; however, once you start talking to them, you realize they are not that attractive.
It truly does not matter what we look like on the outside. Skin-depth beauty is not essential in the actual scheme of life. You may be the most beautiful-looking person. However, you are not truly beautiful if you do not radiate beauty from the inside and share your gifts of kindness, compassion, and empathy with the world.
We are all born with these gifts and can share them. Being compassionate or kind and having empathy for another shows the world that you are beautiful. Often, we can see this beauty in children and animals. Since these are natural gifts, they do not know how to hide them, nor do we want them to.
We limit ourselves if we do not look beyond what we see in front of us or look for the beauty inside. For example, I have found myself looking at videos of gorillas lately. Often, if it is not a silverback, I am unsure if it is male or female, but that does not matter. What I see is love without strings, kindness without thought, compassion without judgment. Beauty comes from the inside.
When we emanate our inner beauty, we can encourage others to do the same and radiate their beauty outward.
Today’s challenge:
Look for beauty in unexpected ways.
