I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness. Perhaps you can hold the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Maybe you have some untapped talent you regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
What do your instincts tell you about a situation, a person, or an animal?
We have instincts for a reason, and we should never ignore them. Our instincts are meant to keep us safe. It is the Universe giving you a message about whether you should trust a situation, person, or animal.
Have you ever met a person that you were instantly drawn to or one that completely repelled you? You will often find this feeling in your gut. Butterflies will tell you you are on the path to something exciting, while a sense of nausea tells you to turn away.
Many often ignore these clues, only to find they should have listened to them. Unfortunately, it may take a more physical clue before we realize something is wrong with this person or situation.
Many believe they can win over a person or animal because they are good-hearted. While you may be able to influence a change in them, we should always do it from a safe distance.
In other words, do not put yourself in a situation that can bring harm to you. Trust your instincts, and if you are uncertain, err on the side of safety.
Today’s challenge:
Trust your instincts no matter how good something looks.
