I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations.  Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself.  You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china.  I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow. Love Language
We each have our way of expressing love. This is our love language.
Some express love through their support. Being available and genuinely listening to others. At the same time, others may display it through their deeds. These deeds can come in many forms, such as cooking, cleaning, yard work, or gardening. They may reach out a helping hand to someone in need. There are also the ones who like to give gifts to convey love. Or maybe they articulate their love by simply saying I love you. Hopefully, you will hear the passion behind it. Finally, most will show their love in multiple ways because we have different types of love for the many people in our lives.
Unfortunately, we do not always recognize another’s love language because we express ours differently and expect others to show it similarly. Therefore, understanding each person’s love language is essential, and we cannot expect anyone to change their expression for us.
When we genuinely love someone, we will express our love to them the way we do, learn their love language, and accept their gift to us.
Ultimately, it does not matter how one expresses love; only that one does.
Today’s challenge:
Discover your love language and then learn how the significant people in your life express theirs.
