I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations.  Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself.  You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you.  You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world.  Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china.  I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.

New Beginnings

Just because we have been going in one direction in life does not mean that we cannot change the path we are on.  New beginnings are waiting for us.

As we grow and learn, we may realize that we must be on the correct road.  We may find a new belief system, a new group of people who encourage us differently than our old friends.  We may discover that our work does not bring us the joy that we had envisioned it would.

New beginnings can be a welcomed change in our lives.  At the same time, with each new beginning, we will take with us what we have learned and what will continue to help us grow and become the person we choose to be.

Therefore, as we embrace these new beginnings, we must realize this does not mean we must change all aspects of our lives.  We should do a strategic strike on our lives.  Leave behind the things that no longer serve us and welcome the things that will make us more fulfilled.

Today’s challenge:

Notice the things in your life that no longer serve you and release them as you embrace new beginnings.

    New Me

Hooray for new beginnings … as a young adult in the past and as well today as a “mature adult!” There is NO expiration date on New Beginnings! Thanks for the affirmation.

I’m going to challenge myself to do, or at least find, one new beginning a day, e.g., yesterday I found a cute lil bistro next to the storied Village Inn [and their free pie Wednesday 🙂 ] Today I found a new barber who cuts my hair the way I want it cut. Not earth shaking or headline worthy but makes me happier!! Come to think of it, I like the New Me every time I run into me! 🙂

    Tally Ho!
