I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations.  Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself.  You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you.  You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world.  Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china.  I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.

Perspective

Is the glass half full or half empty?

That all depends on your perspective.

Some say an optimist sees it as half full, while a pessimist sees it as half empty.

However, aren’t we all optimists as well as pessimists?

Most of us are walking contradictions.  Our perspective can be optimistic and pessimistic. Rarely do we always see the glass as half full or half empty.

You may lean towards one more than the other, but there will be different situations that you will react to differently.  You may always try to find the optimistic side of life, but it can be nearly impossible.  Even if you think you have, someone else may look at your perspective and see pessimism.

That is the thing about perspective; everyone has their own.  Some may view this blurb as positive, while others may see it as negative.  No one is wrong. They see it differently, and that is okay.

Our perspectives are ours and no one else, so we cannot fault others for observing things differently.  Try seeing things from someone else’s point of view, and your world may open a little wider.

Today’s challenge:

Don’t judge others today.
