I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness. Perhaps you can hold the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Maybe you have some untapped talent you regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Are you present in every moment of your life?
Do you spend your moments thinking about the past or future, or can you stay in the present?
With every present moment, we create our past and future. Everything we do will become part of our past and affect our future.
Therefore, we need to live our moments in the present more conscientiously. We must examine our behaviors and responses. We must examine the words we speak not only to others but also to ourselves. Ask yourself if what I am about to say or do is something I will look back at with shame in the future.
A visceral reaction to something in the moment can lead to regret in the future. It may even harm your chance to acquire something you want or need.
When we stay in the present, we are more likely not to have future regrets about our past.
Our present moment is the most critical moment in our lives because it defines who we were, who we are, and who we will be.
Today’s challenge:
Live each present moment with the past and future in mind.
