Morning Magic

I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations.  Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself.  You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness.  Perhaps you can hold the door open without expecting a thank you.  You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world.  Maybe you have some untapped talent you regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china.  I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.

Purpose

Many look for a purpose in their lives.  They believe they have a reason for being here and must discover and fulfill that purpose.

What if our purpose changed daily? What if we had many purposes each day? And what if we were not aware of the purposes we were fulfilling?

For instance, you may have encouraged someone to do something different than their usual because of something they heard or saw you do.  Perhaps you smiled at or made someone laugh who has been feeling extremely depressed.  Imagine the impact you may have had on a child with your behavior and actions towards them.  They may grow up to be a leader because of the respect you showed them, which changed how they viewed themselves.

Often, the job we are led to is a big part of fulfilling our purpose.  All jobs impact multiple lives, and that impact can be on a large or small scale.  We must remember all jobs have a purpose, even if it seems insignificant.

Parents will often say their greatest purpose is their children.  Watching them grow and keeping them from harm are great purposes.  However, a parent’s impact on their children reaches far beyond their child and out into the world, not only through their child but also through their friends.

Hence, we may have a great purpose in life.  However, our purpose may also be on a small scale, which we do not even know we are doing.

To that end, we must know our lives have a purpose, and we fulfill it daily.

Today’s challenge:

Don’t be concerned about a larger-than-life purpose; live each day as if you are fulfilling a purpose because you are.

If you haven’t already, you should publish a book with all these wonderful and inspiring messages!
Also, love your pic today; that does not look like a “Shopped photo”. Do you take your own photos? If so, they ae stunning!
