I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Reset
Do you need a reset?
We are much like our phones. Sometimes, we need to turn ourselves off to reset. We may also find that we need to clear the cache from our brains.
If we keep going without taking time for ourselves, we may find that we can no longer function the way we are used to. For example, when we keep adding things to our lives without deleting other things, we find ourselves running low and unable to perform at our peak.
Therefore, we must give ourselves a break and take time to reset. There are several areas in which we can reset ourselves. For example, are your goals still the right ones? If they are, are the plans to reach them still up to date, or do they need to be reset? Also, do you still need to hold on to everything from your past, or can you start deleting?
It is okay to do a reset on ourselves and our life plans. The next time you feel run down, ask yourself if you need to hit the reset button.
Today’s challenge:
Think about doing a reset on yourself.
