I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Sacred Spot
Do you have a sacred spot?
A space that you feel most comfortable in. For instance, it would be the home or a spot in the home for most. A bedroom or a meditation area, perhaps a reading nook. It could be your yard, front porch, or garden. You may find your sacred spot in your car while commuting to and from work.
We all need to have a sacred spot. A place to go to rejuvenate ourselves. So that we can examine how our lives are going and what we need to improve upon.
For me, it is in my meditation. I have a beautiful place I go to, and I always come back refreshed and happier. There, I spend time with my higher self, the Angels, and the Divine White Light there. I am even lucky enough that my four-legged best friends occasionally show up. Here, I have learned to forgive myself for my mistakes. I have also learned to appreciate and love myself.
Sacred spots are essential for each of us, including children. Find a place for yourself, and if you have children, simultaneously help them to find a place. You will be grateful that you did, and someday, your children will tell you how much they appreciate you for helping them find a place to learn about themselves.
As a result of sacred spots, we can create a more sacred world.
Today’s challenge:
Think about how sacred our planet is and treat her that way.
