I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Temple
Our body is our temple, and we are the God or Goddess who keeps the sanctuary.
Therefore, our temple only needs to be perfect for us. We do not need to worry about what the lambs say if we choose to have a smaller or more significant temple; that is our choice.
We are the ones who decide what to feed our temple. Both physically and emotionally.
Therefore, as we choose food for our body and mind, we must consider how it will support us. What we put in is what we will get out. If we continuously choose garbage, we cannot be surprised if we find ourselves sluggish and unmotivated.
On the other hand, if we select nutritional sustenance for our temples, we may discover that we are developing a more rewarding outcome.
However, sometimes, we need to appreciate a little of both options. Therefore, if we want a salad while watching a mindless show, we should enjoy ourselves and not allow anyone to shame us.
Ultimately, our temple is ours to keep as we choose.
Today’s challenge:
Decide how you prefer to care for your temple and enjoy your upkeep.
