You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Maybe you have some untapped talent you regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Unfold
From the moment we are born, life is unfolding. As we learn and grow, life unfolds into new adventures and lessons.
Every day we are alive, we learn something new and often try something new. Each of these new experiences unfolds a different aspect of life for us. We may find new friends and release old ones with each opening crease. Or, a new path may be laid out in front of us- a new home or job or possibly a new family life.
Sometimes, we may try to shake life open, but rarely can we get all the folds to open that way. Life is meant to unfold naturally and on its own schedule. Unlike the laundry forgotten in the dryer, life will only wrinkle if we try to force it.
We may try to refold parts of life, but like a fitted sheet, it is nearly impossible to fold it perfectly. When you don’t like how something has unfolded, consider it one of the crucial lessons that need to be learned.
Let life unfold naturally to what is next for you.
