I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Waves
With every wave, the shoreline transforms.
While we enjoy the waves’ rhythm, we may overlook the constant change of the shoreline as the currents come and go. For example, one wave may bring a beautiful shell, and the next may return it to sea. One wave may leave a beautiful sand ripple behind; the next can enhance or destroy it.
Likewise, the sounds of the crashing waves may captivate us. We may lay in the sand and be mesmerized by the sound. At the same time, it may cause chaos for another.
Waves can be disruptive, or they can be soothing and creative.
Similarly, the minutes of our days are like waves. They change the trajectory of our lives constantly.
For example, one minute, you are enjoying a typical day, and the next minute may bring something fantastic or unwelcome, transforming our lives just as the waves transform the shoreline.
The transformations can be subtle, or they can have a significant impact.
Every wave, every minute counts; therefore, we should be aware of the ever-changing transformations.
Today’s challenge:
Notice the subtle changes in every minute of your life.
