I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Perhaps you have some untapped talent you may regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
We all have to weather a storm every once in a while.
Storms can come in many forms. We may encounter challenging circumstances when taking on a new job, moving, or adjusting to a family situation.
We may also face personal storms. These are often the quiet storms we navigate without sharing with the rest of the world. These can be as simple as rain up to a blizzard. For example, we often have personal trauma that we must overcome or a relationship that is not going the way we had hoped. In these storms, we may choose to go alone and rely on our inner strength to come out on the other side. We must remember, however, that we can seek support if we find ourselves on a sinking ship.
The weather constantly changes, and we can go from a beautiful sunny day to a torrential downpour in minutes. Preparing for these changes, such as having the tools and a support network when required, can help us navigate the storm.
Storms come and go. However, we can survive these storms if we stay positive.
