I hope these thoughts give you something to ponder while you enjoy your morning beverage. As you go about your day, I invite you to take some time to reflect on your observations. Consider if there’s anything you can do to enhance your life, such as looking into the mirror and appreciating yourself. You may also find a way to make the world more beautiful with a simple act of kindness. Perhaps you can hold the door open without expecting a thank you. You may also want to consider if you have a gift to share with the world. Maybe you have some untapped talent you regret wasting, as we sometimes do with unused towels or our good china. I hope you find them enjoyable and return for more tomorrow.
Yesterday
So What
So what yesterday did not go as planned
So what you did not make it to the gym
So what you had that ice cream
So what you wanted to scream
So what that person did not smile back
So what you felt lack
So what someone cut in front of you in line
So what all is fine
So what yesterday is gone
Today, you awoke to a new dawn
Yesterday
Yesterday is a gift from which we learn.
We open our hearts and minds to the lessons, both good and bad. These lessons are how we improve today and tomorrow.
No one had a perfect yesterday, so do not feel like you failed. Our mistakes and our successes help us to grow every day.
The important thing about yesterday is that you made it through and can practice again today. Remember, today is also a gift from which to learn.
So, we embrace the good and release the bad.
Today’s challenge:
Take yesterday’s lessons and put them into practice today.
