When we first met
We were careful not to step
In each other’s way.
We stepped around one another until our steps started to align.
Then we stepped toward one another and
Began to step together
We stepped in together
We stepped around together 
We stepped into a beautiful dance
Then, our steps started going in a different direction
And we stepped further away from one another
Now, we once again step around, careful not to step into each other’s way.
